In a highly competitive sporting, leisure, and entertainment market, the Burleigh Bombers Australian Football Club continues to acquire talent and AFL participation.

The Burleigh Bombers have more than eight hundred active players, forty-two teams from juniors to seniors, and the largest participation of females on the Gold Coast sharing one home, one oval, and one change-room. The current change room facilities present significant challenges across genders in age groups, coaching staff, and volunteers.

We urgently seek funding for the cost of expansion and accommodate the rapid growth of female participation, umpires, medical, training, and storerooms for football training equipment, merchandise, and goods for sale within the canteen, and new coaches and time-keeping rooms with increased visibility.

The upgrade and expansion including public amenities with external lighting has support from the lessor, Burleigh Bear Rugby League Club, Burleigh Bull Sharks Cricket Club, and Gold Coast City Councilor Pauline Young.
