Hello, my name is Caitlin Peirce. I am an elite amateur golfer from South Australia, with aspirations of pursuing a career as a golf professional in 2025. I am a current Tier 2 athlete in the Golf Australia – South Australia High-Performance Program and a 2024 recipient of the Karrie Webb Scholarship. I also hold an Individual Athlete Scholarship through the South Australian Institute of Sport, and in 2023 my golfing performances earned me a place in The Advertiser's top 100 sporting stars in South Australia.
In the second half of this year, I will be travelling to the USA to compete in international and elite amateur golf tournaments. The opportunity to play in international events in previous years has enabled me to develop my golfing skills and has provided a better insight into the day-to-day routines associated with professional golf. This year, the events will provide me with the level of competition and exposure to a varied range of course conditions that will prepare me for what I will encounter at LPGA 2024 Q-School in my efforts to obtain a LPGA tour card.
Through the Australian Sports Foundation, I am requesting assistance to fund the costs associated with my international travel, accommodation, and entry fees for tournaments, as well as hiring a professional caddy while overseas.
Thank you for your time in reading my story and for your interest in my journey towards a professional golf career. All donations are Tax Deductible and are greatly appreciated. My planned schedule and achievements to date are outlined below.
