Thank you for considering a donation to help me represent Lake Macquarie at the International Childrens Games (ICG) in Daegu, South Korea in July in Swimming.

My name is Cameron, I am 14 and swim for Charlestown Swimming Club in Lake Macquarie, NSW. I have represented my club at State and National level and am proud to have been selected on the swimming team for Lake Macquarie at the 2023 ICG being held in South Korea. The ICG are the largest multi-sport games in the world and are recognised by the International Olympic Committee.

Last month, I travelled to the Gold Coast and competed against the best age swimmers in Australia at the National Age Swimming Championships. I am proud to have qualified for and competed at this level. To do so, required years of hard training and commitment.

The reason I swim is because I love competing against other athletes who are also striving to be the best they can be. Being part of a team who trains hard and supports each other while trying to race as fast and hard as they can.

Swimming is a fantastic sport but competition comes with alot of expense. The reason I have created this page is to ask for any help people can offer for me to travel to South Korea and compete against swimmers from all over the world.
