Over the past 12 months we’ve worked tirelessly to create a brand new golf course and welcome back existing and new Members to the Club.

Now it’s time to turn the beer taps on, enjoy some great food and recreate a vibrant Clubhouse atmosphere to ensure the legacy of Cammeray Golf for many years to come.....but we’ll need your help!

We are asking Members and patrons to make a donation that will be directly used to get the food offering, beer garden & Clubhouse tweaks up and running for Summer 2024.

Our Clubhouse, Food & Beer Garden activation is all about making our club the go-to spot for fun, food and community! Picture this: a lively Clubhouse with amazing food, upgraded beverage options and events that bring everyone together.

Cammeray Golf will be a place where great golf meets great social experiences, and your donation will allow us to create an amazing community hub for all!

How will your donations be utilised?

• Have a great food offering

We are building an outdoor woodfire pizza kitchen and BBQ area that will be run by a highly experienced external operator who will produce a variety of family-friendly meals with broad appeal. The outdoor kitchen is a cost effective and quick to action food option for Summer 2024. This also enables us to plan for a major kitchen & Clubhouse upgrade in the future once a new long-term lease is secured.

• Create a Beer Garden

Thanks to the recent course reconfiguration, we’ve now got a stunning, ready-made beer garden right in front of the Clubhouse.

We’re turning this into a family-friendly space with extra picnic tables, twinkling lights and music - creating the perfect, laid-back environment.

It’s going to be the ultimate spot to enjoy a drink, catch up with friends and unwind after a round of golf. We can’t wait to share it with you!

• Clubhouse upgrade & maintenance

To support the activation of the Clubhouse, we want to ensure we are showcasing her in her best light! This will include upgrades & repairs to the ceilings, roof, toilets, installing safety fences and other aesthetics, including new outdoor furniture.

All donations big and small will make a difference to the project and to our Clubhouse!

• All donations over $100 will be recognised on an honour board and an invitation to the opening of the Pizza Kitchen at Cammeray Golf event.
• All donations over $1,000 will receive a named brick on the new Legacy Lane we are creating beside the former practice putting green.
• All donations over $3,000 will be commemorated with a named seat plaque.
• All donations over $5,000 will be recognised with a named plaque on a table in the new beer garden.

How will donations be collected?

To offer full transparency to our Members, we are using the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) platform for donations to this project.

The ASF has been helping athletes, clubs and organisations fundraise for 37 years and has distributed nearly $700M through its online fundraising platform and community sport grant rounds in that time. The ASF is a small non-profit organisation that retains 5% of online donations and 6% of offline/ manual donations.

Donations take 1-2 business days to be reconciled by the ASF Finance team and a tax-deductible receipt will be emailed to you shortly after.

Donation funds will be paid to Cammeray Golf twice a month. They will be held in a separate bank account which will be reconciled monthly.

The Club must submit an expenditure (acquittal) declaration in the ASF platform for each payment received. All financial records must be retained by the Club in order to substantiate expenses.
