Despite 18-year-old Tasmanian Racing Driver, Campbell Logan’s late start to racing at age 13 in karting, he has proven himself to be one of Tasmania’s most exciting up-and-coming drivers. Throughout Campbell’s 4 years in karting, he won multiple races and finished runner-up at the 2019 Tasmanian Kart Championship. Campbell currently has 43 career wins despite starting at a late age.

Campbell stepped up into car racing in 2021 through the Tasmanian Hyundai Excel Series where he broke lap records and finished 3rd in the series despite not competing in the last round. Campbell also made his debut in the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series at Mount Panorama where he finished 8th for the weekend and was nominated as the ‘Dunlop Driver of the Day’ by Chad Neylon.

Campbell was also named the Hobart Sporting Car Club's 'Rookie of the Year' as well as driving an Erebus Motorsport Supercar for the first time at Queensland Raceway.

2022 proved to be Campbell’s biggest year in racing by firstly being selected by Marcos Ambrose to be a participant in the inaugural Garry Rogers Motorsport Combine driving TCR, Trans Am and S5000 cars.

Campbell also begun competing in his first full-time national series – the 5-round Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series, supporting the Supercars Championship at Bathurst, Sydney Motorsport Park, Sandown and Townsville. Campbell finished 6th outright and the ‘Best First Year Driver’ whilst also collecting his first podium result at the Bathurst 1000 in treacherous conditions. Campbell also competed in three rounds of the Tasmanian Hyundai Excel Championship where he took 2 pole positions, race wins and multiple podiums.

2023 is an exciting year for Campbell, as he has recommitted to the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series after his important learning year in 2022. Campbell’s goal is to win the Toyota 86 Series and then progress further down the pathway to become a professional driver in the Supercars category.

Campbell has received some excellent support along the way, which he is extremely grateful for as without that support, his racing wouldn’t be possible but Campbell is looking to expand his support network. Motorsport is not a cheap sport by any stretch and the 2023 season is expected to cost $150,000 with 7 total rounds racing the Toyota 86.

By supporting Campbell through this fundraising project, you will help Tasmania’s next superstar achieve his dream of becoming a professional driver in the Supercars Championship.
