Canberra Women's Football Inc. have a long-term strategy to elevate and uplift the women's game in our region, through engaging the public at all levels of participation and engagement.

Our focus now shifts to fostering the professionalism and sustainability of women's football in Canberra more broadly, through initiatives that foster community, education, engagement and inclusion. We plan to continue raising funds through events, and give back to the community through our programs.

Planned programs (so far) may include the following:

• Women's Match Official Program
• Female Goalkeeper Program
• Mentorship Program
• Scholarship Program
• Football clinics for women and girls of all ages
• ...and so much more!

Funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards implementing these activities.

We are deeply grateful for the support received thus far and call upon our community to continue backing us in this endeavor. Together, we will ensure Canberra United's continued success and broader impact on women's football in our region.

With Capital Football's confirmation of Canberra United's participation in Season 17, it's crucial to recognise that our current funding only covers the bare minimum to field a team. More investment is needed to adequately support our players and coaching staff, ensuring they receive the necessary resources to compete at a professional level. This includes meeting the minimum salary cap and providing essential support for training facilities and player development. We hope Capital football continues working to secure additional resources through fundraising efforts, sponsor engagement, and grants.

Please note: A small percentage of funds raised may go towards CWF running costs including administration, fund raising events, auctions and fan engagement activities. CWF is a 100% volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation; therefore, no donations go towards salaries or wages.
