Cardinia Storm established itself as the first hockey club within the Cardinia Shire Council in 2023.

This year, we are excited and proud to announce that four of our junior members have been selected to play at the Junior State Championships (JSC) in Shepparton - July 2024!

• Lilly Kelly was our first official junior register with the Cardinia Storm Hockey Club in 2023, and has been selected to represent the Under 12 Girls Southern Sharks team in a Hockey 5s format.
• Luke Holland joined Cardinia Storm in Term 3 of 2023 to participate in our first ever under 10's competition team, and has been selected to represent the Under 12 Boys Southern Sharks team in a Hockey 5s format.
• Jack Bowen attended Cardinia Storms first ever junior 'Come and Try' session in Term 1 of 2023, and officially started playing competition in Term 4 summer season with us, and has been selected to represent the Under 12 Boys Souther Sharks team in a Hockey 5s format.
• Izzy Byron participated in Cardinia Storms first ever Hookin2Hockey program, delivered in Term 2 of 2023, and has been selected to represent the Under 14 Girls Gippsland Bulls team.

In addition, to our successful juniors, we also have one of our senior players, stepping up in a coaching role to support and share his wealth of hockey knowledge and skill with the future generations of the sport.

• Scott Burnett joined Cardinia Storm this year as part of our first ever Men's team, leading from the front as our Men's Captain, and was successful in being appointed the Head Coach of the Under 14 girls, Southern Sharks team.

We are so excited to have our newly established hockey club represented so well in this years JSC and are asking for your help to fund this amazing opportunity.

The cost of playing fees, uniform, accommodation and travel expenses averages roughly $1,300 pp, so we are aiming to raise $6,500, so that we can send our members to participate in this fantastic opportunity without being out of pocket.

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductable and helps to support us in our goal of keeping our kids active!

We are honoured to be able to share our love of hockey within the Cardinia Shire on a regular basis and are incredibly proud of our members for their passion and drive when it comes to giving every opportunity their best efforts.
