We are excited to introduce you to a remarkable young talent, Chais Tippett, a 17-year-old go-kart racer with a burning passion for karting and a dream to compete in the Australian Karting Championship in 2024.

Chais embarked on his karting journey at the age of 9, entering the sport later than most of his competitors, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. In pursuit of his motorsport ambitions, Chais made the pivotal mover in 2018, relocating to New South Wales to expand his opportunities in karting. 

In 2022, he transitioned into the senior Tag 125 restricted class, where he quickly gained recognition, achieving numerous podium finishes at both club and regional levels.

In 2023, Chais took on an even greater challenge by moving into the unrestricted class and racing at tracks known for their tough competition, including the Combined Districts in Lithgow. Notably, he is currently leading the club championship, showcasing his racing prowess and skill.

Chais's dedication extends beyond the racetrack with his recent early entry into Mechanical Engineering at Newcastle University.

Now, Chais has set an audacious goal for 2024: to compete in the Australian Karting Championship. He has been accepted to join the esteemed Tyler Greenbury Race Team, where he will race in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland, challenging himself against the nation's most formidable and swiftest competitors.

However, reaching this pinnacle of karting excellence comes with a significant financial burden. All funds raised will go towards essential expenses, such as a team-specific kart and race suit, tyres, and team fees. Travel and accommodation are generously covered by our major sponsors, "The K9 Shed" and "The K9 Korner."
