I'm working hard toward achieving the goal of representing Australia in the 2032 Olympic Games, in the exciting new IQ Foil class.
Having recently finished school, I'm trying to raise funds to travel overseas and compete at the major pre Olympic, European and World Championship regattas to gain critical experience in bigger fleets with the best sailors in the world.
I recently represented Australia at the 2023 Pacific Games (the regional Olympic Games, held every 4 years) in the Solomon Islands winning a Silver medal. Previous to this I represented Australia at the 2022 ISAF Youth World Sailing Championships at The Hague, Netherlands and have won the Australian Youth National Championships twice in a row.
Prior to racing the IQ Foil, I raced in the Techno windsurfing class, winning Sail Sydney in 2021 (beating the boys to finish 1st overall) and 3rd at the 2020 Youth National Championships. I only transitioned full time into the IQ Foil class in July 2021, there is still a
lot to learn.
My sailing career began in Optimists at Sandringham Yacht Club when I was 8. Over the years I have raced the 29er, Techno 293, Techno 293+, school teams racing and match racing. For the last 4 years I have represented my yacht Club in the National Sailing Champions League on the RS21’s qualifying for the Nationals at each event.
I am a fully qualified dingy and windsurf instructor with Australian Sailing. With the plan to become a fully Qualified Australian Sailing Coach in February 2024.
I’m hoping to raise $20,000 to fund flights, accommodation, food and safety support.
