Meet Jesse, 

Jesse is our new ‘Student Chaplain’ living on site at CSALT Academy in 2023 

A former student of CSALT Academy Jesse is 19 years old, he loves surfing and skating, and he’s a passionate to see positive growth in young people as they pursue a relationship with God & serve in their local communities.

CSALT stands for “Christian Surfers Australia Leadership Training”. It is a training journey with the purpose of equipping and empowering young adults to live out of a rich and genuine relationship with God and through this transform the world around them... learning first hand how to run a local Christian Surfers community program.

Jesse knows all too well the powerful impact a year at CSALT Academy can have in your life and it’s for this cause he is fully committed. This year his role will be to primarily provide students with support and pastoral care focusing on their spiritual and emotional well-being. 

Aside from his pastoral care duties Jesse will be across all of the day today comings and goings is on site at CSALT Academy. He will be supporting the students with their cooking and cleaning responsibilities, their studies and assessments, and helping them to serve in local surf events at Philip Island Christian Surfers.

Jesse will also be present on the Ever fun and adventurous CSALT trips. Being the seasoned traveller now that he is he is well equipped to educate his peers on the value of surfing with purpose and leaving only positive impact when travelling to foreign destinations. 

In 2023 Jesse fulfils a great need of ministry and leadership at CSALT Academy so why not get behind him and support him on this adventure.
