Meet Sarah,

Sarah is our new ‘Media and Marketing Coordinator’ living on site at CSALT Academy in 2023.

A former student of CSALT Academy, Sarah is 19 years old. She loves surfing and skating, and all things creative from film to painting and everything in between. Most of all she's passionate about seeing positive growth in young people as they pursue a relationship with God and serve in their local communities.

CSALT stands for “Christian Surfers Australia Leadership Training”. It is a training journey with the purpose of equipping and empowering young adults to live out of a rich and genuine relationship with God and through this, transform the world around them... learning first-hand how to run a local Christian Surfers community program.

Sarah knows all too well the powerful impact a year at CSALT Academy can have on your life, and it's for this cause she is fully committed. This year, her role will be to through her creative use of media, get the word out about CSALT Academy. She will be telling stories, documenting adventures and generating a few laughs along the way. Aside from her creative duties, Sarah will be across all of the day-to-day comings and goings on site at CSALT Academy. She will be supporting the students with their cooking and cleaning responsibilities, their studies and assessments, and helping them to serve in local surf events at Phillip Island Christian Surfers.

Sarah will also be present on the ever-fun and adventurous CSALT trips. Being the seasoned traveller now that she is, she is well-equipped to educate her peers on the value of surfing with purpose and leaving only a positive impact when traveling to foreign destinations.

In 2023, Sarah fulfills a great need for ministry, creativity and leadership at CSALT Academy, so why not get behind her and support her on this adventure.
