Hello everyone,
My name is Christine Murray, but you might know me as ShortStop. I’m excited to share that I’ve been a last-minute addition to the World Skate Games roller derby Team Australia! This event, which follows a different rule set than WFTDA, will be held in Italy this September.
I’m coming out of retirement for this amazing challenge, especially after recently having a baby. It’s an amazing opportunity to represent Australia, and I’m dedicated to giving it 110%!
However, the trip and training are entirely self-funded. That’s where I could use a bit of help. If you can spare a few dollars, it would be greatly appreciated. Your support will go towards my training, travel, and competition expenses.
