As you may or may not know, I have been selected to represent Australia at this year’s Hockey Masters World Cup. As the Victorian Captain on several occasions, this is a massive honour to represent my country. I have been attending the Australian championships for the past 6 years and this is the pinnacle of my sport at this level. The World Cup is in November with a training camp in August. As a part time PE teacher I have to take the 2 weeks off work and unpaid. My wife and 2 kids are unable to attend as we can only afford for me to go. As hockey is Amateur in status, we have to pay for everything, including flights, accommodation, car hire, insurance, uniforms, equipment etc. I need your help to assist me with these expenses if you can?
