CRSC has 20 training boats (Optis, Spirals and Herons) for introductory and intermediate level sailing instruction and development programs. The fleet is aging and needs constant maintenance and replacement of 2-3 boats each year over the next 3 years. This has become a high priority now that the premises have been expanded and upgraded for the next generation of dinghy sailors.

We need financial assistance for the project as each boat costs around $5,000 to replace and is outside normal operational costs. Expansion of our sport by introducing and training newcomers is an ongoing commitment of the Club and its volunteers to maintain membership strength with younger people and families participating.
