Coolangatta Tweed Barbarians Rugby Union Club was established in 1978 and offers our members the opportunity to play Rugby Union.

Situated on the NSW and QLD border we recently lost our home ground of over 40 years so the local council could convert it into a leash free dog park.

Our new alternative home venue has an already established privately owned licensed restaurant and bar. Therefore we are unable to serve our own food and beverages on game days meaning our ability to raise funds is very difficult.

We are also located in a low socioeconomic area where our members struggle to afford the costs to play sport and local businesses struggle to provide sponsorship opportunities.

We contribute free playing memberships to any child that can't afford to play and all other fees are always set at the bare minimum to make it still affordable for them.

Due to these contributions our club is not in a position financially to upgrade training equipment frequently, and we cannot afford to purchase team kits for our players each season.

We kindly request any contribution you are willing to provide as this will help our club to continue to support and develop disadvantaged youth in our region.
