Hello!

My name is Cooper Barnes I am 15 years old, I have had interest in cars since I was 2 1/2 years old from playing in the back yard fixing them to driving around laps in the back yard in my 12 volt Jeep. I started go karting at 7 years of age and really enjoyed the motor sport. I have had lots of fun go karting and a good run with podium wins and a State Title Win in 2019.

Turning 14 gave me the opportunity to move up to the next level to Hyundai excel with getting a Motor sport Australia licence and to start racing in the Series X3 QLD state championship in Hyundai excel racing, as I am unable to race in NSW til I turn 16.

I go up to Norwell Motorplex in QLD monthly to twice a month for driver training to improve my racing skills.

 On my forth race meeting in the Series X3 QLD state championship i got on the podium bringing home 3rd, then on my fifth race meeting at Queensland raceway i had my 1st podium win! I believe having regular driver training at Norwell motorplex has got me to where i am today.
