Hello! My name is Courtney Geraghty, I am 27 years old living and training between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. I grew up in Alice Springs, Northern Territory and moved away at the end of 2012 to further my athletics career.

During the athletics season I am unable to work full time due to needing to travel for competition and training, this meaning that my expenses are quite high.  

I was presented with the Pierre De Coubertin Award in high school. It has been my dream to represent Australia at the Olympic Games since I was a little girl. Your kind donation would help my dream become a real possibility, giving me the chance to train and travel more throughout the year both nationally and internationally. 

Your donation will assist me with things such as flights, accommodation, transport and registration fees for interstate and international travel to race. It will also help with training gear, allied health appointments such as Physiotherapy and Remedial Massage Therapy. As an elite athlete, both Physio and Massage are needed quite regularly to continue to train and compete at a high level. With sport comes injuries and setback, this will also help towards surgery and private medical costs to get me back competing quickly.
