The Australian Water Polo League is Australia's highest calibre of water polo competition, with Cronulla entering a Men's and Women's team each year. 

With this comes a significant cost to both the club and the players, who are mostly self-funded and take time off work to compete in the competition.

This fund contributes to expenses for the club to bring out international players, including travel, lodging and playing expenses.
