As a young, elite female athlete and full time Medical Science student, I am looking to mix it with the best in the World and train in Europe over the Australian Winter towards breaking into the World Cup, top 60 and qualifying for the 2022 Olympics. I finished the 2020/21 IBU season as Australia's No. 1 ranked biathlete. My IBU Q points of 122 will earn Australia a Wild Card start on World Cup for Trimester 1 next season, 2021/22. I feel I have taken a big step up with my ski speed and am extremely motivated to put everything into taking the next step. I have decided to stay in Sweden to train and prepare the best I can for the World Cup. It was too costly and challenging to travel back to Australia during Covid and so I am preparing for a big European Summer and look forward to doing some summer biathlon competitions.

I have a growing list of remarkable supporters here in Sweden including Madshus, Leki and Tom and Anna Carin Zidek (Torino Gold and Silver Medallist). Tom provides me training advice and specialist shooting coaching. I am currently training in Idre Fyall and enjoying doing sprint skiing in the Swedish mountains and some basic shooting training. However, I can't do it all on my own and really need support from Australia to help me realise my dream of representing Australia at World Cup and Olympics.
