Warrnambool City Council approved this project after 2 years of negotiations. Planning and Building Permits obtained and plans prepared.

Delays have forced cost blowout from $22,000 to $38,000 which makes project unviable without grants and donations as Club has limited cash and would need to take out a loan to complete the project.

Club has Future Fund but expected replacement of a green within two years will require $150,000 which itself will require a loan to complete. We are a small club without poker machines.

Project approved by Council also because it will be a facility for adjacent Kayak and Rowing Clubs who have no toilet facilities and have to walk approx.500-600m to a public facility across a bridge and down a road.

We are a bowls club but also a Community Club that hosts a number of sporting and community groups for classes and meetings
