About

The East Ringwood Football Club is located in the heart of the picturesque Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1929 through the dedication and teamwork of many talented locals, the Club has developed a strong culture of success, ranking us as one of the top Eastern Football League Division 1 Clubs. The strength of East Ringwood Football Club begins at grass roots level with the East Ringwood Auskick. Run by many of our ex-players, the fun and enjoyment shared amongst the families and kids is testament to the passionate volunteers. Our Junior Football Club has sixteen teams (2 girls teams) competing at various levels and it’s here that our young Roos develop the love of playing for the blue and white. The Senior Football Club has three teams, tasting success in 2014 with a premiership in the Under 19's; this playing group is core of todays senior playing list.

In 2015 The East Ringwood Football Club established a partnership with the East Ringwood Cricket Club and the Chin Community Victoria to create a Sports & Community Hub in Maroondah. The current sports pavilion is over 50 years old and does not comply with the 2016 AFL Facility Guide. A joint partnership between the Sporting Groups Federal, State and Local Government has seen the development of a concept design for the construction of a multipurpose community hub that will become the home of the East Ringwood Football Club, East Ringwood Cricket Club and Chin Community of Victoria.
