The Sydney Roosters Foundation exists to support many aspects of development for the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club. Contributions to the Sydney Roosters Foundation support four distinct pillars; Our People, Our Future, Our Community and Our History.

Our People

Aligned with the Sydney Roosters’ strategic pillar of "We Love Our People," this foundation encompasses comprehensive professional development and underscores our commitment to nurturing a unified and inclusive culture that embodies our values of respect and excellence, fueled by the passion and strong work ethic of our people.

Since the establishment of the Sydney Roosters Foundation in 2021, our top priority has been the creation of the Sydney Roosters Academy. Inspired by a transformative visit to FC Barcelona's renowned La Masia Academy in 2020, the Sydney Roosters are pioneering elite junior player development and welfare standards within the NRL and Australian sport.

Our History

Since the inception of Rugby League in 1907 and the commencement of the first season in 1908, the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club has stood as a pillar of the sport. We take immense pride in being a foundation club, celebrating our rich history and heritage while steadfastly supporting those who represent the Roosters.
