Ella is a talented 14-year-old WA athletics athlete, and as a result of her impressive 2023 WA State Track & Field Championships performance has been selected for the 2023 Athletics West International Athletics team, travelling to Singapore in July this year. At this Annual International Athletics Competition, held at Singapore's Athletics Stadium, Ella will compete in Javelin, Shot Put and Discus.

Ella trains hard and is a very committed athlete, with National titles and podium finishes at State and National levels in Javelin. Ella finished out 2021 (U14) and 2022 (U16) ranked number 1 Nationally, and in December 2022 Ella competed in the Australian All Schools Track & Field Championships in Adelaide and podiumed in the gold Medal position for U15 Javelin, throwing a new meet record. Ella attended the LAA National U15 camp for Javelin in October last year and is currently ranked 3rd in Australia in U16's and holds a ranking position in U18's. Ella is also competitive and podiums in Shot Put and Discus at State level, and has represented WA at the Australian Track and Field Championships in all 3 throwing disciplines.

This International Tour is a fantastic opportunity for Ella to compete against quality international athletes in another country and also give Ella the opportunity to gain self-development in an overseas environment which will enhance her prospects both on the track and away from the track well beyond this season, and into the future.

Unfortunately, Athletics does not receive much funding, and as Ella's interstate travel for competitions and national camps have increased over the past 12-18 months, although very exciting and undoubtedly Ella has trained tirelessly to achieve, it can be quite costly. Therefore, Ella is graciously reaching out to her local community, family and friends to help fund 50% of the total cost of her Singapore Athletics International Tour through sponsorship donations. Total cost is $4500 (Qantas flights, transport, accommodation, uniforms, insurances and associated incidental expenses).
