Hi my name is Elle-Maree. I am 14 years old and I've been training as a Taekwondo Athlete. My journey started at age 6 years old with Irontiger Taekwondo (Castlehill), having my Master Diane Carn guide me all the way to get me where I am today.

Having the opportunity to wear Green and Gold and represent Australia has been one of my childhood goals. On 7th July 2023, I got the chance to come home with a Gold medal at the Taekwondo Selection Event, in Brisbane, this has earned me a spot on the Australian Team to compete at the 2023 World Cadets Championships. This event will be held in Bosnia from 28th - 31st August 2023.

Taekwondo has taught me discipline, motivation, dedication and perseverance along the way. Recently, I have been lucky enough to be selected for the Performance Pathway Training Program, an initiative to prepare athletes for the 2032 Australian Olympics.

This trip to Bosnia is fully self-funded and I would appreciate any support you could offer to help get me there to chase my dream.
