Emily Hart’s hard work and determination to her Tenpin Bowling has earned her a spot in being selected to represent Australia along with her teammates at the 23rd Asian Junior Championships in Malaysia in June. 

She has also been selected to represent Australia in the World Youth in Korea in July. 

Emily’s bowling journey began in 2011, in a junior league for fun. Since then, she has taken part of representing South Australia in the President Shield Team since 2017 and was lucky enough to make South Australia’s Youth team in 2020 and 2021. Emily has been in the National Training Squad since 2020. Emily has won the Australian Junior Masters in 2021 and 2024, won the Queensland Junior Cup in 2023, won the Junior National Rankings in 2021 and 2023 and won the junior Bowler of the year for South Australia for 2021, 2022 and 2023.

In 2023, while competing overseas, Emily placed fourth in the Asian Youth Singles and second in the Asian Junior Singles, demonstrating her ability to perform at international level. With the upcoming championships, Emily is both excited and nervous, as she hopes to bring home another medal.

To prepare for the major events, Emily is in need of new bowling balls that are suited for the overseas patterns. Any support to help her with this amazing opportunity would be greatly appreciated. The funds raised will go towards her trip including flights, accommodation and the purchase of her new equipment.
