Hey Everyone! My name is Emily Whitehead, and I’m a 23-year-old elite gymnast from Australia. I've proudly represented Australia since I was 12 years old, participating in prestigious events such as the Commonwealth Games in 2018 and 2022, as well as the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Now, I've been selected to compete at the Paris Olympics 2024 - a dream come true.

I dedicate over 30 hours a week to training, striving to excel in gymnastics. After Tokyo, I moved away from home to fully focus on my athletic career while also balancing a job at Rebel Sports, where I worked up to 20 hours a week. Additionally, I'm currently studying Exercise Sports Science to deepen my understanding of sports and fitness.

Why I Need Your Support:

I am reaching out for financial assistance because being away from home for extended periods without a steady income has been challenging. While travel and accommodation costs for the Olympics are covered, I need support to ensure optimal preparation leading up to the Games. The next few months require intense training, making it necessary to reduce my work hours to prioritise recovery and readiness.
