I am very proud to announce that I have made the U23 Australian rowing team that is competing in Varese, Italy in July. Over the last two Covid years Australia was not able to send any boats overseas to compete in the U23 World Rowing Championships, so when I was selected into the U23 Australian Coxed Four, we were only able to take place in a Simulation regatta at Carrum, Victoria. Luckily, this year I was able to gain redemption and participated in a grueling 3 week trial process.  These trials were based in the US with other Australians who are at college here also trialling. With 160 athletes based in America from Australia I was fortunate enough to be selected into the same boat to stroke the U23 Coxed four. This is my last year of eligibility for this team so I am thrilled to be able to represent myself, my country, Syracuse University and my club; Mercantile on the world stage. I have sacrificed a lot to be where I am today and I am very excited my sacrifices are paying off.

Any funds raised will go towards my unfunded portion of my “seat” fee and other directly related costs.
