Finley Bennett currently trains under a scholarship with the Tier 1 athletes, part of the South Australia Sports Institute (SASI) Performance Pathway with the Developing Beach Volleyroo athletes.

An ambitious 17 year old, at 2.02m, Finley has set his sights firmly on competing at the highest levels of volleyball. He is looking to fundraise for this year’s forthcoming events to enhance his technical development at an early age. To fastrack his competence milestones would help him achieve his objectives of playing his chosen sport at the Olympics and World stage.

Finley has been selected to represent Australia in the U19 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships, Roi Et, Thailand in May. A top 3 finish will result in qualification into the U19 World Beach Volleyball Championships in Shangluo, China.

Finley has also been selected for the U20 Indoor Asian Championships, Oceania Qualifier where the winning team will travel to Indonesia to compete in the U20 Asian Championships in July.

Finley is working hard to manage his time to successfully finish Year 12 at Brighton Secondary School, South Australia.

We are hoping to fundraise to assist in the cost of these events so Finley can achieve his objectives.
