This September, a group of Floorball WA members will proudly represent Australia at the U19 Men’s World Floorball Championship Qualifiers in Honiara, Solomon Islands.

This significant event, held from the 20th to the 23rd of September, will see our team face off against Singapore, Japan, and New Zealand as part of the Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC).

Balancing their final year of high school, intense training schedules, and part-time jobs, these dedicated athletes are working hard both on and off the court. However, the cost of participating in this international competition is substantial. Expenses include flights, accommodation, health precautions, uniforms, and playing fees.

To help cover these costs, the team is organizing a special one-time training clinic for junior floorball enthusiasts in Perth. This event is designed not just to raise funds but to give back to the local community, offering younger players the chance to learn new skills, improve their game, or simply have some fun on the court. The clinic will also feature a barbecue and a coffee stand, making it a fantastic day out for all involved.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and supporters of the sport to help make this trip a reality. Your donations, no matter the size, will directly support these young athletes as they strive to achieve their dreams on the international stage.
