At Fury Basketball Club we want to support our 200 dedicated volunteers and make sure they feel valued.


Help us raise funds to purchase every volunteer COACH and TEAM MANAGER a volunteer polo shirt. They deserve it!


Why is wearing a polo important?


  • To recognise and reward our volunteers for the effort they put in.
  • To demonstrate we value them and the time they put in for no pay.
  • Help identify our volunteers as the face of our club.
  • Increase the professionalism of the club.
  • To make our volunteers feel part of a big team and an important part of the Fury family.
  • To give each of our coaches and team managers a sense of belonging and feel proud.


Some of our coaches and team managers have been with the club for many years and many volunteers help more than one team. They go 'above and beyond' to enable our children to play basketball.


What do our amazing volunteers do?


  • They run weekly training sessions.
  • Coach and offer advice and motivation at games.
  • Carry out behind-the-scenes admin.
  • Send out communications to parents.
  • Arrange scoring rosters.
  • Support and encourage players.
  • Make sure the team have correct uniforms.
  • MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO CHILDREN’S LIVES


This coming summer we want all volunteers to receive free polo shirts. If you agree they deserve this, please donate. Thank you!

Jay is a lovely young guy who coaches my son's team and am happy to pay for a polo shirt for him. I am grateful that he gives up his free time to run a one hour training session and coach every game the team plays. He works full time, plays himself and often catches the bus to get to the courts. His commitment to the team and the club is really appreciated.
