Let's Get Schmidty to Peru - to represent Australia in the World U20 track and field championships 27th to 31st August.

Gabby Schmidt is an emerging Australian Middle Distance Athlete who in just under two years has been selected in three World Championship events, two for cross country and now to compete in the 5000m and 3000m in Lima - Peru. Without hesitation, Gabby's parents have provided tremendous financial support over the years meeting the copious domestic and international requirements for selection and competition in her State and Australian teams. For young athletes like Gabby, there is some financial support from Queensland athletics to compete in the national team, which has been greatly appreciated, however it does not cover the full cost of the travel. Even with support from Athletics Australia, the levy for Gabby's Peru trip is estimated to cost $6000. Please donate if you can to support this amazing young woman.
