About the project

Western Australia has been sending Gaelic Football teams to compete at the Australasian Championships since the 1970's. The State has been crowned Australasian champions on a number of occasions and Ladies Gaelic Football in particular, is very strong in the West. A number of our players have gone on to play in the AFLW and 7 girls from WA represented Australasia at the 2019 GAAA World Games in Ireland with Australasia carrying off the Irish born ladies football title. Your support will allow a new generation of players to represent their State at future Australasian Championships and GAA World Games.
