We are a women-founded and community-led mental wellbeing not-for-profit that keeps women and girls in football and leading on and off the pitch. Through mentorship programs and wellbeing workshops, we support women and girls with the tools to become confident, emotionally-intelligent people who step up as role models, coaches, and leaders in the game and in their communities.

We have led this evidence-based program - the first of its kind in Western Australia - for four years as a dedicated team of volunteers with little funding and a lot of passion and energy to see change in our communities. As a for- purpose organisation, community investment supports our women and girls to sustain participation and elevate young women into paid leadership roles such as facilitators of our programs.

Gaining Ground is the program we wish we had at our clubs as young girls playing football. As the momentum of women's and girls' sport continues, there has never been a more crucial time in history to invest in women and girls for their mental wellbeing and leadership potential on and off the pitch.
