We are a women-founded and led mental wellbeing not-for-profit in Western Australia that empowers women and girls in soccer to lead on the pitch and in their lives. Through club mentorship programs and wellbeing workshops, we support players with the tools to become confident, emotionally-intelligent women and girls who step up as role models, coaches, and leaders in the game and in their communities.

We have led this evidence-based program - the first of its kind in Western Australia - for four years as a dedicated team of volunteers with no funding and a lot of passion and energy to see change in our communities. As a for purpose organisation, community investment supports our women and girls to sustain participation and elevate women and girls into paid leadership roles.

Gaining Ground is the program we wish we had at our clubs as young girls playing soccer. As the momentum of women's and girls' sport continues, there has never been a more crucial time in history to invest in women and girls for their mental wellbeing and leadership potential.
