Geelong Cats Community strives to grow Greatness, at home or far away, through fostering football connections, empowering legit inclusion, supporting healthy lifestyles and contributing to the community, building on the Club’s 166-year presence in the region.

The Growing Greatness in our Community campaign directly supports the Cats Community and its wide range of impactful programs and initiatives. From heartfelt moments through Cats Wishes and Ward Walks, creating lasting opportunities that continuously highlight the growth of female football, The Resilience Project, Dulux Colour your Club and Community Bay, Game Development, and so much more. Every meaningful gift helps bring these programs to life.

These programs are more than just initiatives—they’re a testament to the Geelong Cats’ commitment to creating meaningful connection and lasting positive impact across the region and beyond.

At a glance, in 2024 Cats Community:

-       Saw more than 26,000 people directly engaged in programs and events.

-       Had an impact within 124 schools.

-       Generated over $245,000 of in-kind support to the community.

-       Formed new partnerships, focusing on a proactive approach to mental health with The Resilience Project in schools, powered by GMHBA.
