Gemma Burns is part of a group of women heading over to the USA to compete in the Women's World Match Racing Circuit in April and May this year.
We have been invited to compete in the first two stops in the Women's World Match Racing Circuit, in St Francis Yacht Club - San Francisco and Eastport Yacht Club - Baltimore. The Women's World Match Racing Tour is an international professional series designed for Women to compete against the best in the world. We will be competing against the best of the best, and we are ready to show them what we have got!
The team has previously competed at the Australian Women's Match Racing Nationals where they came third and the New Zealand Women's Match Racing Nationals where they narrowly missed out on a spot in the worlds.
The tour is designed to promote women in sailing and create more pathways for women to compete professionally in our sport.
