I am extremely honoured and grateful to have been selected in the New Zealand U17 basketball team to compete in Mexico at the FIBA World Cup against the best in the world next month.
Its always been my dream to represent New Zealand and wear the black singlet. Growing up I've been inspired watching my dad play for NZ and the pride and passion that comes with that honour is something I have only dreamed of.
Since selection I've been working hard with daily morning trainings and various evening trainings to ensure I am game ready when the tournament starts.
The tournament runs from July 13-21 in Leon and Irapuato in Mexico.
This tournament is self funded and I am endeavouring to raise the required $5000 to cover flights, accomodation, transport, uniforms and various other associated costs.
I appreciate your support so much and feel thankful knowing that you have helped me on this journey.
Any donation large or small will be gratefully received. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Thank you so much for your support.
