Since 2002, the Glenelg Golf Club Foundation has raised over $200,000, of which almost $150,000 has been allocated to funding the Club's Junior Golf & Elite Player Development Program.

The program is currently funded 100% by donations and fundraising activities undertaken through the Glenelg Golf Club Foundation and is coordinated by our elite team of nationally recognised and accredited PGA coaching professionals

In 2015, over $36,000 was spent on activities associated with the program, including $11,300 in one-on-one individual lessons, $7,500 in entry fees for golf tournaments, $6,300 in travel assistance, $5,000 in subsidies for junior clinics and $6,000 towards the annual High Performance Junior Squad trip.

A total of $29,700 was raised in 2015 through member donations, fund raising activities and the Glenelg Golf Club Foundation Golf Day.

Activities receiving financial support through the Foundation include:

• Junior clinics;
• Entry fees & various expenses to compete in local, state & national golf events;
• Various junior golf trips to country & interstate locations;
• Individual & high performance coaching for junior & elite player development program squad members.

Over 200 current and former junior members have received some financial assistance or have been involved in some way in development program activities.

Glenelg’s growing reputation as the leader in junior development has been established thanks to the support of the Foundation and the generous donations given by members and supporters.
