Gold Coast United have a design to upgrade our current change room facilities.

Our plan is to start the project to upgrade these facilities in season 2022. The interest and growth in female football is outstripping our pace to adequately accommodate the increase in demand for our female athletes including visiting teams and we are in desperate need to build female specific facilities which will ensure greater privacy and access to toilets.

The increase in female participation in football is being fuelled by Australia hosting the Women's 2023 World Cup and role models like Sam Kerr who inspire our girls. It would be our aim to have these facilities in place prior to the 2023 World Cup so that in that year the club can host major football events that cater for female footballers and to celebrate Women in sport.
