I started rowing 4 years ago and have participated in two Nationals events where I was successful in achieving medals on each occasion. This year I was fortunate to be combined with WA and Queensland rowers for trials and we were selected in April for the Australian Junior Rowing team as the Women’s Coxless Four. Since then we have had training camps in Queensland and now the crew are living with us in Perth for our last block of training before we leave for World’s in July.

I am a Year 12 student at Iona and member of Swan River Rowing Club. I am studying on an ATAR pathway and training 10 sessions a week, so there is very little time left for me to have a part time job. So I am supported in my rowing by my family, though I’d also appreciate my community in donating to assist in my World Championships, if you are able to - From Greta 😊
