Hamish Gilsenan is a passionate Victorian u/19 ILCA6 sailor who has been selected for Australian Sailing Youth Team, after a successful result at the 2023 ILCA Australian National Championships and will represent Australia at the Youth worlds in Dziwnow, Poland later this year. 

This is an enormous opportunity to progress his long-term Olympic aspirations and beat sailors from across the world and win the event for Australia. 

To compete, Hamish will be flying to Europe to train for a week prior, before staying on to compete at the event from the 1st of July to the 9th. As part of this event, flights, accommodation, event entry and boat charter are necessary costs. All funds raised will go directly to these expenses, bringing home a win for Australia. 

Hamish is undeniably committed above all else and is working incredibly hard in the lead-up to make the event a success, including travel to interstate events/ training camps, and daily on-water training in Melbourne. 

Any help is greatly appreciated and will hopefully be a long-term investment in an Olympic medal!
