About the project

Tennis is known as the 'game for life' with research showing that when young people take up activities such as tennis they are more likely to stay involved in these activities as they age. Hampton Park Tennis Club founded in 1962 is home to one of the most popular tennis club in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Our project is a fantastic example of a partnership with donors, community and businesses to deliver a significant enhancement to our sporting ground, supporting local tennis players and importantly the wider community for years to come.

All monies raised will fund the purchase of spectator seats, upgrading the current lighting and the resurfacing of the three remaining tennis courts at Robert Booth Reserve.

“The project will fund the facility upgrades which will benefit the community and encourage people get active and more involved in tennis”
