Canoe Polo is a totally self funded sport that is played by over 60 countries around the world. This years World Championships will involved about 70 teams in 4 divisions. This is the first time in History Australia has entered an U21 Women's Team.
The total cost per player is estimated at over $5000AUD including airfares, uniform and accommodation. We even have to cover the costs of our coaches and manager. This amount does not include my equipment or training camps before we leave.
