Being selected in the Australian U20 team is one of the biggest aspirations I have had since starting my gridiron career 2 years ago, and will truly be a once in a lifetime experience. Journeying to Edmonton, Canada in June, our national junior team is set to compete against some of the best talents in the world, coming from countries such as Japan, Brazil, Canada, Austria, Panama and finally, the United States themselves.

During preseasons and during the season I spent four hours driving to get to club practices on school nights, having to balance my training with my school workload; I was determined to keep all avenues open for future endeavor as well as simply doing what I loved doing.

After the national championships, I will set my sights on playing College Football in America. I currently have been accepted into several universities, paired with some academic-based scholarships and have received interest by coaches, however I am yet to receive a football scholarship offer. Hopefully this trip will not only sharpen my skills but also give me the exposure needed to receive a football scholarship, helping become a student-athlete.
