Hi there!

My name is Harry Laidlaw and I am an Australian alpine skier competing on the World Cup circuit. Coming off my best season yet after an ACL injury I am currently ranked 31st in the world for Giant Slalom, which is Australia's best ever rank in the discipline. I have been representing Australia on both a national and international level for the past 10 years, including at multiple world championships and becoming an Olympian at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world doing what I love, and I show my gratitude through unrelenting hard work, dedication, and focus.

Australia is a summer-sport-nation, and unfortunately, does not offer a great degree of financial support to their winter athletes, including alpine skiers; so it is left to the athletes to support their professional journey.

Costs incurred include airfares and other travel expenses to and from different alpine regions for both training and competition, costs related to physical and on-snow training, as well as general day-to-day costs associated with living abroad. I would be beyond grateful for any support, which would play a large part in supporting my goals and aspirations.
