**About Me**

I am Tash, an elite wheelchair athlete, speaker, podcast host, mindset coach, published author, and dual Queensland State record holder (T54 100m and 400m).

My journey in sports and beyond has led me to become Oceania Champion in 2022, an international marathon winner, and a gold and dual bronze medalist for Australia as a T54 track athlete.

As Oceania’s Fittest Seated Athlete in 2024 and triple medalist at the World AbilitySport Games in 2023, I’ve proudly represented my country on the global stage. And accomplishments have earned me recognition as the Gold Coast Woman of the Year 2022 (Champion of Sport) and the Gold Coast Sports Star of the Year (2024).

**My New Dream: Adaptive CrossFit**

Last year, I embraced a new challenge by diving into the world of adaptive CrossFit.

Although this was only my second CrossFit event, I placed fourth in the world at the CrossFit Games Semi-Finals, having never really trained CrossFit before.

Recently, I competed in the Oceania Championships at Torian Pro, where I secured 1st place and was crowned Oceania’s Fittest in my classification.

After placing fourth on the qualification table for the CrossFit Games semi-final, I have earned a place to represent Australia at the 2024 Adaptive CrossFit Games in San Antonio, Texas in September.

Now is time for me to give everything to this sport and demonstrate what is possible with hard work and resilience.

**A Call for Support**

Competing in the pinnacle event for this sport internationally would be a huge achievement for me. Not only It is an opportunity to prove what I can do on a world stage and motivate others by showcasing the capabilities of adaptive athletes. But, after spending nearly a decade bed bound, this would also be a “pinch me” moment in my personal life. Unfortunately though, the costs associated with international travel, accommodation, and competition fees are considerable.

To add an extra challenge, three weeks back I severely broke my finger and this setback has forced me to spend much of my savings on recovery, leaving me struggling to fund this trip. As a wheelchair athlete, pursuing CrossFit, grip strength is essential and I am working hard to recover this in time.

As a wheelchair user who is also legally blind, I must travel with support, adding to the expenses.

**How You Can Help**

in order to chase this huge goal and make the impact I wish to make, I am seeking support. Your contribution will help cover the costs of travel, accommodation, competition fees, and support, allowing me to represent Australia with pride and determination.

Your donation, no matter how small, will empower me to continue advocating for change and demonstrating that there are infinite possibilities for anyone willing to chase their dreams.

Thank you for your support and consideration.

Your support in this journey is not just an investment in my dream but also a contribution to a broader mission of visibility, empowerment, and change for all people. Together, we can motivate countless others to pursue their dreams with unwavering determination.
