Skate Australia Women’s roller derby team!!!

After living, breathing and competing in the sport of roller derby for the past six years, last year I tried out a new rule set. World skate roller derby, with Skate Australia.

In February my hard work paid off and I was selected as the only NSW player in the 2019 Skate Australia Women’s Roller Derby team.

A squad of 16 players will travel to Barcelona, Spain in July to represent Australia at the world roller games.

Over 4000 athletes will attend the games and skate in 11 different disciplines.

We are extremely hopeful as a team to bring home a medal!!

I am training HARD six days a week on and off skates to make the dream of representing my country as a strong athletic women a reality.

All of this comes at a cost. I would be extremely grateful for any support with my training and competition travel costs.

I am extremely proud and excited at the opportunity to represent my country and hope you will follow my journey and share the excitement x
