Hi! I'm HyoJin, an Australian-based short track speed skater working toward my biggest dream: representing Australia at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Skating has been my lifelong passion, and over the past few seasons, my international ranking has been steadily climbing. I’ve poured everything into this sport — training day in and day out, competing around the world, and proudly pushing myself to new levels of performance.

But before I can officially represent Australia on the Olympic stage, there are two major steps I still need to take:

-Securing a permanent visa

-Gaining Australian citizenship

These are essential not just for my life and training here, but to become eligible to compete as an Australian Olympian — something I’m deeply committed to.

Short track speed skating receives very limited funding in Australia, which means most of the costs fall on athletes themselves. Your support will help me:

• Cover travel, coaching, and international competition costs
• Continue building on my rising world rankings
• Stay focused on training without the financial burden

I’m doing everything I can to earn my place on the Olympic starting line — not just as an athlete, but as an Australian.
