My Name is India Gilbert and I'm a New South Wales Institute of Sport Scholarship Holder and part of the Australian Sailing Futures Squad, hoping to represent Australia in 2028 and 2032 Olympic Games.
I have recently teamed up with Lily Richardson in the 49erFX and we are travelling to compete in Germany for the 2023 Junior World Championships. We will also be competing in domestic regattas like Sail Sydney and Sail Melbourne.
Sailing is an expensive sport so the funds that we raise will go directly towards equipment purchases, equipment development, coaching, travel and transportation of boats and equipment overseas. All donations are tax-deductible (receipt sent when received into the Australian Sports Foundation account).
