For Isabelle and Inez, soccer has been more than just a game; it's been a lifelong passion. Since the tender ages of 5 and 6, these dedicated sisters have been kicking the ball and making their mark on the field. Both these girls' talent were first spotted by Andrea Cooper, Head of the LFC Foundation, when Liverpool FC were in Kuala Lumpur for their off season tour in July 2015. The girls actually attended the LFC coaching clinic with the intention of accompanying their nervous little brother not knowing that day was going to be a turning point for them. Andrea's words of advise that day was taken seriously and we, as a family, started paying attention to getting these girls into the game. Despite the challenges of playing on all-boys teams when women's soccer was still gaining traction, their determination and skill have shone through.

Now, at 15 and 14, Isabelle and Inez have achieved an incredible milestone: they've been selected to represent Football South Australia's U14 and U16 girls teams at the prestigious Singa Cup Tournament in Singapore this November 2024. Inez is a goalkeeper and her elder sister, Isabelle, is a utility player who can play as a centreback or a holding midfielder. This opportunity is not just a testament to their hard work, but also a chance for them to inspire other young female athletes and showcase their talents on an international stage. Isabelle has been a volunteer coach, coaching girls as young as 6 to 8 years of age at her local club. Seeing their "coach" represent the state in an international tournament will definitely impact those little girls too and follow Isabelle's footsteps one day.

However, to turn this dream into a reality, Isabelle and Inez need your support. The costs for travel, accommodation, and meals is AU$4,450 per player which totals up to AU$8,900 for both of them. They have managed to raise AU$2,000 in total thus far but they are still short by a total of AU$6,900.
